Canberra Brick Show 2022 Covid Safe Plan
The organisers of Canberra Brick Show 2022 are committed to protecting the community and reducing the risks of transmission of Covid-19. A range of measures are in place for the event, however it is acknowledged that Public Health Orders can change at any time and additional measures may be required to be implemented. If any additional measures do need to be put in place, this will be communicated to all exhibitors and vendors via email.
If you are unwell with any covid-like symptoms, please do not attend the event. Covid-like symptoms include, but are not limited to:
- Cough
- Sore throat
- Runny nose
- Sneezing
- Fever
- Headache
- Stomach upset
- Altered sense of taste
- Loss of sense of smell or taste
Measures that are currently in place for Canberra Brick Show 2022 include:
- Staggered timing of entry to reduce the number of people inside the venue
- Wearing of face masks indoors is encouraged
- Separate entry and exit points to minimise cross-flow of pedestrian traffic
- Exhibit layout has been designed to allow a flow of pedestrian traffic that reduces congestion points
- Hand sanitiser will be available at key touch points around the venue such as entry, exit, ATMs, LEGO play tables . Separate handwashing facilities are available in the bathrooms throughout the venue
- Vendors are encouraged to have hand sanitiser available at their booth
- Signage encouraging face masks and hand sanitising will be in place
- Bathrooms will be regularly cleaned by Thoroughbred Park staff during the event
